How Does This Image Make You Feel?

This image was captured on an overcast late autumn afternoon at a nearby reservoir. What emotions do you feel when looking at it? What story does it tell? Is it beautiful or ugly? Interesting or boring? Why do you think I processed it in black and white? What is the significance of the dead tree in the foreground? What part of the image most stands out? I like to think about these questions when I’m on scene and during post processing, and I’m always fascinated with how others might answer as well.
