Autumn in Custer State Park

We went to the arts festival in Custer State Park recently and afterwards took a short hike along the Centennial trail. It was the middle of the afternoon and the sun was rather harsh, so I didn’t take many photographs until some high, wispy clouds softened the light. That’s when I captured this image looking up the trail at some awesome fall colors and this great granite formation.
