Very rarely do we experience such calm conditions on the South Dakota plains, but on this morning it was so still I could hear the frogs croaking on the other side of the lake. I returned to this location several times since the dead reeds made a good foreground subject, but the water was just too choppy. But patience paid off in the end when I captured these mirror like reflections.
